Your new role
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Nurse Manager/Associate Director of Nursing/Director of Nursing who will play a crucial role in overseeing the smooth operations of their specialist centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the nursing teams across all departments
  • Ensure exceptional standards of patient care, safety, and infection control are maintained
  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Manage staff scheduling, rostering, and performance reviews
  • Collaborate with the medical team to coordinate patient flow and optimise operating theatre efficiency
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for nursing staff
  • Represent the relevant nursing departments in multidisciplinary meetings and committees

What you'll need to succeed
  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior nursing management role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • People management of nurse managers (Head of units/wards) is a must
  • Strong clinical expertise
  • Proven experience in leading and motivating multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in using relevant healthcare information systems and technologies
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
