We are partnering with a well-established, globally recognised organisation to seek a Head of Human Resources to lead its people strategy in Malaysia. This is a senior leadership role and would be responsible for driving HR transformation, partnering closely with business leaders and shaping a high-performance culture aligned with regional and global objectives. This position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in a complex, matrix environment while influencing business outcomes through strategic HR leadership.

Your new role

  • Act as a strategic HR partner to senior leadership, aligning people strategy with business objectives.
  • Lead and drive HR transformation initiatives, including organisational design and capability building.
  • Oversee core HR functions:
- Talent management & succession planning
- Employee engagement and culture
- Performance management
- Compensation & benefits
  • Partner with regional/global stakeholders within a matrix organisation.
  • Ensure strong governance, compliance and HR risk management
  • Lead and develop a high-performing HR team.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role
  • Strong background in strategic HR business partnering within a complex or multinational environment
  • Experience in driving HR transformation and change management initiatives
  • Solid understanding of local labour laws and HR best practices
  • Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across functions and regions.
  • Strong leadership, communication and decision-making capabilities.
