About the Organisation
We’re assisting a major international logistics and supply chain company in hiring for a senior role within its regional finance and operations hub. The organisation operates across multiple markets and is focused on strong execution, financial discipline, and consistent service delivery.
Role Purpose
This role supports the overall performance and financial governance of the regional hub. You’ll be responsible for analysing operational data, coordinating reporting cycles, and helping implement improvements across multiple countries.
Key elements of the role include:
- Developing and maintaining hub performance metrics and reports
- Highlighting operational issues, trends, and potential improvement areas
- Managing assigned projects and supporting process rollouts across regions
- Coordinating budget activities, reviewing variances, and ensuring accurate documentation
- Working with accounting teams during month‑end close, reconciliations, and reporting
- Supporting cost‑recovery processes and ensuring compliance with internal agreements
The role also involves regular communication with country teams and shared services partners, overseeing the onboarding of new activities into the hub, and ensuring key documents—such as SLAs, policy updates, and change requests—are kept accurate and up to date.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking someone with a strong background in operational finance and project delivery. The ideal candidate will bring:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in finance operations, shared services, or a similar environment
- Experience managing projects and improving processes across multiple teams
- Solid understanding of financial reporting cycles and operational controls
- Clear communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across different countries
- A structured, self‑driven working style suited to a fast‑moving environment
