We are partnering
with a leading financial institution seeking an Analyst to join its Leveraged
Finance team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers exposure to complex financing
transactions, credit underwriting, financial analysis, and debt structuring
activities across a broad range of corporate clients. It is an excellent

Key Responsibilities
The successful
candidate will be responsible for Leveraged Finance activities, including:
- Support the evaluation and
execution of leveraged finance and structured lending transactions
- Conduct detailed credit
analysis, financial statement analysis, and borrower assessments
- Analyse income statements,
balance sheets, cash flow statements, and key credit metrics
- Assist in preparing cash flow
forecasts and financial models to assess debt servicing capacity and
repayment capability
- Perform leverage, coverage,
and debt capacity analysis to support transaction recommendations
- Prepare credit papers,
transaction memoranda, and presentation materials for internal approval
processes
- Support due diligence
exercises and coordinate with clients, advisers, legal counsel, and other
stakeholders
- Assist with transaction
structuring, risk assessment, and financing recommendations
- Monitor industry
developments, market trends, and financing opportunities across various
sectors
- Maintain financial databases,
analytical models, and transaction-related documentation
- Ensure all transactions
comply with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and risk
management frameworks
- Provide analytical support
and transaction updates to senior team members
Requirements
- Degree in Finance,
Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
- Approximately 2–3 years of
relevant experience within Leveraged Finance, Corporate Banking, Credit
Analysis, Audit or related functions
- Strong understanding of
financial statements, credit analysis, and corporate lending fundamentals
- Ability to analyse company
financial performance, cash flow generation, profitability, and debt
repayment capacity
- Strong analytical and
quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail
- Experience with financial
modelling, forecasting, and credit assessment would be advantageous
- Background within Accounting,
Audit, Transaction Services, or Corporate Banking would be highly regarded
- Strong communication and
stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a
fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment
- Candidates pursuing or having
completed CFA qualifications will be viewed favourably
- Demonstrated interest in
credit, lending, corporate finance, and structured financing
