Your New Role
As an Accounts Payable Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the company's financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Invoice Processing: Receive, verify, and enter all accounts payable invoices into the accounting system, ensuring proper authorization and coding.
  • Supplier Management: Create and update supplier information in the ERP system, and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
  • Payment Execution: Prepare weekly and ad hoc payments via wires and ACH, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
  • Expense Handling: Review and approve employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Audit Support: Assist in year-end and government audits by preparing necessary reports and documentation.

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounts payable role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
