The company is Malaysia’s leading food manufacturer and the only local producer exporting internationally. It specialises in high-volume supply, catering to both local and export markets. As the business continues to expand, it is seeking a driven and experienced Assistant Sales Manager to join the growing team.
Your new role
- Manage and grow industrial B2B sales, focusing on manufacturers and wholesalers
- Handle large-volume sales for both local and export markets
- Identify and qualify new clients while maintaining high standards and MOQ requirements
- Support OEM partnerships and manage client expectations for custom production
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager to execute commercial strategies
- Build strong relationships with key accounts and ensure excellent customer service
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in industrial sales, preferably in dairy, frozen, or yogurt sectors
- Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles and industrial food supply chains
- Experience dealing with manufacturers, wholesalers, and OEM clients
- Proven ability to manage large accounts and high-volume transactions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills
