This Malaysian company is a leading manufacturer of high-quality, single-use examination gloves. Established in 1988, it specialises in producing durable and reliable nitrile examination gloves, along with polychloroprene and polyisoprene surgical gloves. The candidate will join a leading Malaysian corporation in a dynamic healthcare segment with strong demand trends. The company, generating around RM 3 billion in revenue, is a subsidiary of a multinational corporation with revenues exceeding RM 75 billion. It operates multiple sites, including three production facilities in North Malaysia, a Sales/HQ office in Kuala Lumpur, sterilisation services in Salak Tinggi, Selangor, and regional production facilities. The company has rapidly expanded, commissioning advanced production facilities in 2019 and 2021, with further growth planned through new production facilities in the coming years.

Your new role

  1. Category Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and implement strategies to achieve business objectives, define goals, KPIs, and track performance.
  2. Market Planning / Segmentation: Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape; identify target segments and develop value propositions.
  3. Selling Proprietary Products/Technologies: Lead efforts to win business from key target accounts.
  4. Enabling Sales Team: Develop selling tools, train the sales team, and support their efforts through joint sales calls.

What you'll need to succeed

With over 15 years of experience, including at least 10 years in direct B2B sales and roles in sales, marketing, or product management, this individual excels in communication, negotiation, and relationship management. They thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Their expertise extends to digital marketing channels such as email, social media, content marketing, and SEO. Holding a bachelor's degree in engineering or science, with an MBA being a plus, they are strategic thinkers with a hands-on approach, a customer-focused mindset, and a passion for technology and innovation. They are results-oriented and dedicated to achieving targets.
