My client is seeking an experienced Brand and Communication Manager to lead the branding and marketing initiatives for their hospital in Melaka. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical tourism, with proven expertise in building brand image, reputation, and market positioning. This role requires strategic thinking, creativity, and leadership to promote the hospital as a premier destination for medical care and tourism.

Your new role

• Develop and implement branding strategies to strengthen the hospital’s image and reputation
• Drive marketing campaigns to promote medical services and position the hospital as a flagship for medical tourism.
• Oversee brand consistency across all communication channels, including digital, print, and events.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, patient needs, and competitive positioning.
• Manage public relations activities, including media engagement and community outreach.
• Lead and mentor a team of 3–5 healthcare brand executives, ensuring alignment with branding objectives.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to execute integrated marketing plans.
• Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in branding and marketing within the healthcare (Hospital/Clinic), pharmaceutical, or medical tourism sectors.
• Proven track record in brand building and reputation management.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of 3–5 executives.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop creative and strategic marketing solutions
