Business Development Manager (Cybersecurity)

You’ll be working for a end to end Microsoft Security provider that is looking for a Business Development Manager to be based in Cyberjaya. With an aggressive growth plan and the vision to become a better leader in its field, it continues to gain market share over its competitors.

Your new role
  • Drive assigned Cybersecurity Services Sales and Gross Profit contribution to an allocated client portfolio within the enterprise technologies ecosystem
  • Collaborate with all local Sales Teams to increase sales and market penetration into the allocated portfolio of clients delivering best-in-class customer experience.
  • Manage the Cybersecurity Services Sales pipeline, working closely with customers.
  • Assist customer sales teams on partnership strategy, building “trusted advisor” relationships with key client decision makers, to drive adoption of cybersecurity services and solutions.
  • Provide strong vision and a deep understanding of sales strategy and go-to-market to fit the organization’s growth and profit expectations within the allocated portfolio of clients.
  • Maintain a high-level of competitive product, licensing and pricing knowledge of software publishers.
  • Ability to complete OEM / publisher sales and technical certifications.
  • Provide onsite customer presales support and attend vendor events when required.
  • Interact closely with the Organization’s Technology Services Delivery Team to ensure they are up-to-date with important subject matter.
  • Develop business and marketing plans and strategically execute against the plan within the timeframe committed.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Minimum 7 to 10+ years of Cybersecurity Services Selling experience
  • 5 years IT selling experience, ideally in the Microsoft ecosystem, to include Azure and Office 365 (M365).
  • The ability to drive results through remote teams in a fast-paced and matrix organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in the direct sales model with varied customers such as SMEs and enterprises alike.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals by a consultative/solution selling approach.
  • The ability to work effectively within a virtual team, taking strategic direction from opportunity owners and considering input from team members.
