You will be working for a global industrial gases company that is looking for a Business Development Manager to develop new business opportunities while delivering high-value technical and commercial solutions.
Your new role
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities across Malaysia, especially within high-growth sectors like electronics and energy.
Build and nurture relationships with new industrial gas customers, understanding their needs and building trust throughout the proposal and development phases.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders—such as Country Management, Business Development, and Key Account teams—to design and present customer-centric solutions aligned with business objectives.
Offer market intelligence by monitoring trends, projects, and customer developments across Malaysia’s industrial landscape.
Contribute to strategic planning by documenting and presenting business opportunities and solution strategies.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
7–10 years of experience in engineering, business development, project management, or commercial operations.
Proven ability to manage large, complex engineering or construction projects.
Prior experience with semiconductor gas systems, on-site gas operations, or chemical distribution solutions is highly advantageous.
Familiarity with commercial and operational aspects of industrial gas infrastructure.
