Your New Role

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding market reach and driving new business opportunities throughout Malaysia. You will:
  • Develop new clients and grow market penetration.
  • Lead project sales strategies including cost planning, tender pricing, revenue analysis, and contract negotiation for formwork projects.
  • Conduct strategic market assessments to identify needs, product suitability, potential customers or projects, and competitor positioning.
  • Manage credit interactions and ensure full and timely customer payment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, negotiating supply agreements for formwork systems.
  • Oversee and coordinate payment schedules, production planning, and transportation logistics.
  • Handle daily project escalations and resolve site issues—both commercial and technical.
What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales or marketing within scaffolding rental, heavy machinery, or construction materials for the Malaysian market.
  • System Formwork industry experience highly preferred.
  • A degree in Marketing, Business Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong project management experience with deep understanding of design, production, and delivery workflows.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
  • A passion for achieving results and the ability to manage complex, multi‑stage projects.
