Your new company

Our client is a leading company in property and facilities management, overseeing a wide portfolio of commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments across the country. With a focus on high standards and efficient operations, they are looking for a certified Chargeman (ranging from A4 to BO) to support their facilities and electrical systems across various properties.

Your new role

As a Chargeman, you will be responsible for the overall electrical system upkeep of the assigned building(s), ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency in operations. You will work closely with the Facilities Management team to ensure smooth daily functioning and minimal downtime.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Operate, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, switchgears, gensets, and equipment.
- Monitor and ensure electrical installations are compliant with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) regulations.
- Lead a team of technicians and provide technical guidance.
- Respond to power trips or electrical emergencies.
- Coordinate with contractors for repair or upgrade works.

What you’ll need to succeed

- Possess a valid Chargeman certificate (A4 or BO) registered with Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in building or facility maintenance.
- Strong understanding of HT/LV systems and electrical regulations in Malaysia.
- Able to lead a team and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work on a rotational shift or respond to after-hour emergencies when required.
