Your new role

• Provide technical and strategic guidance in selecting the best quality latex which suits the needs of the compounding and production processes

• Oversee the chemical and physical testing of latex received by thorough checking of TSC, DRC, NR Content, NH3%, KOH No, VFA, MST, etc.
• Implement process improvements and best practices in latex storage, preparation, compounding and production
• Lead the root cause analysis and troubleshooting of compounding and extrusion issues related to latex quality/properties
• Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established tasks and KPIs

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 3 years of intensive experience with natural latex processing or equivalent job scope
• Strong technical leadership and project management skills proven by successful completion of multiple R&D programs
• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, polymer science, or chemical engineering or related field
• Based in Bentong, Pahang
• Working hours Mon to Fri 8:30 am – 5pm and Saturday 8.30 am to 12pm (half day)
• Willing to relocate to Bentong, and have a driving licence.
