Your new role

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board on financial strategy and business performance
• Lead enterprise-wide financial planning, forecasting, and performance management
• Drive transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and shareholder value

• Lead fundraising initiatives, including debt and equity capital markets activities
• Oversee and execute M&A transactions, joint ventures, and strategic investments
• Evaluate investment opportunities and manage portfolio performance

• Provide expertise on listing requirements, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance
• Engage with investors, analysts, banks, and other key stakeholders
• Manage treasury, capital structure optimisation, and risk management frameworks

• Oversee all aspects of finance including FP&A, controllership, tax, treasury, and reporting
• Ensure robust internal controls, compliance, and financial governance across the Group
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across multiple business units

What you'll get in return

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional qualification (ICAEW, CPA, ACCA, CFA, etc.) and MIA is highly preferred
• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role (CFO / Deputy CFO within a large, complex organisation or listed environment. Would be ADVANTAGE if you have prior investment banking exposures too.
• Strong track record in fundraising, capital markets, M&A and strategic investments
• Deep understanding of listing rules, corporate finance, and regulatory frameworks in Malaysia and/or regional markets
• Demonstrated ability to engage at Board level and influence key stakeholders
• Commercially driven, strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills
• Prior exposure to diversified businesses or conglomerate structures will be an advantage
