Your new role

The Chief Risk Officer will be responsible for overseeing the bank’s enterprise‑wide risk management framework, with a strong focus on credit risk, market risk, operational risk, and regulatory risk. Reporting to senior management and working closely with the Board and regulators, the role will partner closely with business leaders to support prudent risk‑taking and informed decision‑making. Key responsibilities include setting risk appetite, strengthening governance and controls, driving regulatory engagement, and ensuring alignment with local and global risk standards.

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive experience in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) within a corporate or commercial banking environment

• Strong credit risk background, including oversight of corporate credit portfolios, risk appetite setting, and credit governance frameworks

• Proven senior leadership capability, with experience leading, developing, and influencing large risk teams across multiple risk disciplines

• Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with business and senior stakeholders, balancing risk governance with commercial objectives=

• Solid exposure to regulatory engagement, including interactions with regulators, Board Risk Committees, and senior management
