Your new company

Listed on the main market of Bursa, they are a semiconductor manufacturer with a global presence. They are looking for a strong leader in Corporate Finance to be based in their HQ office at Petaling Jaya.

Your new role

Your responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

• Conduct feasibility studies and develop corporate proposals aligned with strategic goals.
• Perform valuations of target companies using various methodologies, including building financial models and projections.
• Structure M&A and financial restructuring plans, covering pre- and post-deal financial models, cash flow, P&L, balance sheet impacts, and group-level financial effects.
• Formulate and negotiate corporate exercise schemes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards while addressing potential issues with practical solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive presentations and board papers for EXCO and board review.
• Draft and finalise all proposal-related documentation, including presentations, legal documents, shareholder announcements, and circulars, ensuring clarity and regulatory compliance.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure all corporate finance activities comply with Bursa Malaysia, Securities Commission, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams and external parties such as investment bankers, legal counsel, auditors, tax advisors, and regulators to drive the successful execution of corporate exercises.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Professional Qualification (ACCA, CPA or equivalent).

• Over 8 years of experience with 5 years in Corporate Finance roles within a public-listed company or investment banking.

• Skilled in financial modelling, valuation, and analysis, with strong capabilities in structuring corporate finance and investment deals.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, experienced in working with a wide range of stakeholders, including bankers, legal counsel, auditors, and regulators.
