A prominent financial institution is seeking a Data Product Owner to manage business-driven data requirements and convert strategic needs into effective data, analytics and AI solutions. The role works across business and technology stakeholders, overseeing the full lifecycle of data products and ensuring meaningful outcomes and user adoption.

Your new role

• Take ownership of business-facing data initiatives, guiding them from initial concept through delivery and ongoing improvement.

• Act as a central liaison between business users and delivery teams to shape requirements into practical data solutions.

• Influence prioritisation of requests by balancing business impact, urgency and delivery considerations.

• Contribute to the evolution of data environments by supporting platform changes and rationalisation efforts.

• Encourage effective use of data products and promote informed decision-making across stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience leading or managing data-related initiatives within complex organisational settings.

• Strong capability in translating business needs into structured requirements and clearly defined outcomes.

• Broad understanding of data, reporting and analytics concepts, with confidence in engaging technical counterparts.

• Experience managing competing priorities, backlogs or work pipelines in a structured delivery environment.

• Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills across diverse teams
