This multinational FMCG distributor is famous its personal care products. Its distribution hub in Selangor, Malaysia offers a well-structured working environment with high employee engagement. A permanent Demand & Supply Planner is in need currently to manage the demand & supply planning process for local distribution.

Your new role

You’ll be managing the demand planning and S&OP process to deliver accurate forecast to optimise the supply chain performance. You’ll work closely with the sales and commercial team to analyse the market supply trend as well as manufacturing partners on supply and delivery targets. You are also responsible to maintain accurate Supply Parameters in system (e.g. Product Lifecycle, Order Management). You will also be managing a healthy inventory holding level and to highlight risk & opportunities to management for process improvement and risk mitigation.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience in a similar role within FMCG will lead to your success, as will:

• A background in managing S&OP and forecasting activities.
• Analytic skills to identify the market trend for accurate forecasting.
• Working experience in ERP system.
• Experienced in managing a large number of SKUs will be an added advantage.
