My client is a reputable and fast-growing player within the FMCG manufacturing industry, recognised for its strong market presence and commitment to operational excellence. With a focus on delivering high-quality products, the company continuously invests in modern technologies and efficient production processes. They are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to join their team in Selangor. The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all maintenance activities across the facility to achieve departmental objectives aligned with overall company goals.

Your new role

• Lead and oversee all maintenance and engineering operations to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with operational and business objectives

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of engineers and technicians to drive performance.

• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards across all engineering activities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production continuity and minimise downtime

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including cost optimisation and process enhancements

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum 10 years of technical experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role within FMCG manufacturing industry

• Strong expertise in maintenance management, equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and spare parts control.

• Proven experience in budgeting, cost control, and preventive maintenance planning
