Your new role

• Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic planning and decision-making processes. Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management for optimizing resource allocation and achieving financial objectives.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, for internal stakeholders, executive leadership, and external parties as required. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

• Budget Management: Manage the company's budgeting process, including budget creation, tracking, and variance analysis. Work closely with department heads to monitor budget adherence and identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

• Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow projections and liquidity requirements to ensure adequate funding for day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives. Implement cash management strategies to optimize cash utilization and minimize financial risks.

• Financial Operations: Oversee financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense management. Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy and integrity in financial transactions and records.

• Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, such as market fluctuations, regulatory changes, and business expansion initiatives. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the company's financial interests and support sustainable growth.

• Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, laws, and reporting requirements. Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulatory frameworks and proactively implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.

• Stakeholders Management: One of the key people to liaise with Sales, Marketing, Warehouse, Buyers, Bankers, Lawyers, Company Secretary, Auditors and Tax Agents.

What you'll need to succeed

• Mandarin-speaking ability due to the business nature dealing with crucial stakeholders.

• Chartered accountant qualifications such as ACCA, MIA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, MICPA, etc.

• Possess a relevant bachelor's degree in accounting & finance.

• A minimum of 7 years of working experience in Accounting & Finance, added advantage to have external audit experience as well.

• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.

• Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, financial modelling software).

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate cross-functionally and present financial information to diverse stakeholders.

• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
