Your new role: Finance Manager

Malaysia's leading and established large-scale food court F&B management group is looking for a proactive finance manager to help lead their team across multiple outlets. If you've ever handled financial aspects in a commercial setting, are familiar with hands-on, full-set accounting and tax experience and thrive in a fast-moving and dynamic environment – this opportunity is for you.


Key Exposures and Responsibilities you will gain:

• Support the Finance Controller in managing daily financial activities, including receivables, payables, inventory matters, reconciliation reports, and ledger oversight.
• Lead the preparation of comprehensive financial statements, covering internal, group-level, and statutory reporting.
• Maintain full sets of accounts and deliver clear, accurate financial insights that reflect the company’s fiscal position.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and internal governance standards to protect the organisation’s integrity.
• Supervise the rollout of e-Invoicing and other digital finance tools to improve accuracy and workflow efficiency.
• Coordinate annual audit processes and compile necessary documentation for tax filings, ensuring transparency.
• Conduct financial reviews and forecasting to aid leadership in strategic planning.
• Monitor and project cash flow to maintain liquidity and support operational needs.
• Handle miscellaneous finance-related tasks and special assignments as needed.
  
  Requirements:
• Holds a full or partial professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• MUST SPEAK MANDARIN AND ENGLISH (need to communicate with stakeholders)
• Brings at least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or auditing
• Solid understanding of accounting standards, principles, and financial procedures.
• Proficient in accounting systems (including SQL-based platforms) and Microsoft Office tools.
• Leadership qualities, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently and performing under tight deadlines.
• Strong reading and writing skills.
• Can be independent and dependable whilst also possessing excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude.
