Your new role

• Lead day‑to‑day finance operations including billing, payments and documentation to ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee divisional financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards (e.g., revenue and lease-related standards).
• Develop frameworks that ensure complete, accurate revenue recognition across utilities and tenancy income streams, preventing leakages or duplication.

• Drive the full budgeting and forecasting cycle for the Utilities & Tenancy divisions, working closely with operational teams to align assumptions and targets with corporate strategies.
• Perform variance, KPI and trend analysis, linking financial results to operational drivers such as consumption patterns, occupancy rates, rental trends and arrears.
• Use advanced modelling and scenario analysis to challenge assumptions and assess impacts of operational or market changes.

• Engage with operational leaders to validate performance metrics and provide insights that enable better decision-making.
• Translate complex financial findings into clear, actionable recommendations supported by dashboards, data visualisation and concise presentations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls and industry-related standards.

• Manage and coach a team consisting of an Assistant Manager and Finance Executives, guiding them through reconciliations, reporting and compliance processes.
• Build team capability through ongoing coaching, performance management and digital upskilling initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional membership with bodies such as MIA, ICAEW, ACCA, MICPA, CPA or equivalent (mandatory).
• Minimum 6 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a managerial capacity.
• Exposure to FP&A, business partnering or process automation would be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident in presenting financial insights to senior stakeholders.
