Your new company

Our client is a well-established global FMCG organisation with a strong legacy in manufacturing and supply chain operations. They are currently looking to appoint a Regional General Counsel to oversee their legal function across Southeast Asia.

Your new role

• Leading all corporate commercial matters including drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts across the business
• Overseeing corporate governance, compliance and risk management across regional operations
• Managing litigation matters and liaising with external counsel where required
• Providing legal advisory support to business units across Southeast Asia
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Managing and mentoring a regional legal team across Malaysia and Indonesia
• Working closely with senior stakeholders on strategic and operational legal matters

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 10–15 years of legal experience

• Relevant experience within FMCG, manufacturing or supply chain industries is preferred.

• Regional exposure within Southeast Asia and experience in an MNC environment

• Strong hands-on experience across corporate commercial, governance, compliance and litigation

• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills

• Willingness to travel occasionally within the region
