Your new role

As a pivotal member of subject-matter expertise, you not only drive global sourcing, but also the throughput process of commodity strategising, contracting, product development and creation / improvement of efficiencies across the supply chain. Your portfolio is global including APAC, the Americas, and Europe which means you will engage with multiple levels of stakeholders ranging from local buyers to commercial leads. As ESG is fast-becoming an important topic in Supply Chain, sustainable relationships must be developed throughout the process. NPI and costs of distribution will also make up part of your scope.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in a similar capacity, with at least Regional or Global responsibilities

• Strong business acumen and in-depth understanding of the Commodities market. Analytical and able to translate to actions.

• Career experience in Light Manufacturing industries eg: semiconductors, electronics, mechanical

• LEAN, KAIZEN or AGILE certifications an added advantage. Continuous Improvement mindset

• Proficiency in SAP or any other ERP / WMS

• Role is based in Johor (full-time)
