Our client is a key player in the manufacturing industries specialising in chemicals; seeks a top tier talent to join their regional team as a Group Category Manager - Indirect Materials.

Your new role

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the below:

• Coordinate spend area management across the region, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and achievement of country and regional targets for indirect material spend.
• Oversee regional and local projects on contractual issues, ensuring compliance with agreed commercial processes and procedures.
• Execute strategic and tactical purchasing activities to secure continuity of supply, competitive terms, sustainability, and value creation.
• Negotiate with suppliers and maintain strong relationships to ensure reliable supply, favourable terms, and long-term value creation.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong Category Management experience in indirect materials

• Regional or group level exposure is an added advantage

• Strong commercial negotiation and vendor management skills

• Ability to effectively communicate with group level stakeholders
