Your new company
The role initially has direct oversight of two Relationship Managers and two Engagement Managers, with additional team members reporting through dotted‑line arrangements as needed. It also involves close collaboration with a broad network of stakeholders, including international teams, regional boards across multiple markets, and key strategic partners, as well as ongoing engagement with the partnership directorate to ensure alignment and effective coordination across all relationship and partnership activities.
Your new role
- Drive business growth across the APAC region by building and sustaining strategic relationships with higher education institutions and training providers.
- Develop and execute market entry strategies, identifying new opportunities, partners, and self‑generated leads to create scalable partnerships and expand existing ones.
- Own and manage a portfolio of partners, ensuring strong account support while actively increasing revenue and partnership value.
- Act as a credible representative of the organisation, consistently demonstrating its values and professional standards at meetings and external events.
- Deliver results quickly by operating with pace, meeting quarterly performance targets, and continuously improving ways of working and internal processes.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing regional team by setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, addressing underperformance, and supporting recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning.
- Strengthen long-term regional capability and contribute to strategic direction by working closely with senior leadership to support sustainable growth across APAC.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrates strong alignment with organisational values, bringing a professional, passionate, progressive, and practical approach while maintaining high standards of integrity and client service.
- Proven sales and business development professional with over 10 years’ experience in the education sector, consistently achieving targets, driving new business, and growing average revenue per account.
- Possesses solid knowledge of the higher education landscape within the region, with desirable exposure to employer markets and government skills or workforce frameworks.
- An influential communicator and presenter, confident in building, winning, and expanding partner relationships through effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
- Highly self-motivated and accountable, with excellent planning and organisational skills, strong self-awareness, and the agility to adapt while continuously developing personally and professionally.
