Your new role
- Track and analyse sales performance for assigned activities.
- Develop and manage range plans aligned with business objectives.
- Formulate product strategies with optimal pricing and cost structures to achieve sales and margin targets.
- Execute buying decisions based on budget and requirements.
- Monitor sell-through rates and inventory levels for optimal stock management.
- Prepare and interpret various performance reports.
- Analyse sales, product performance, inventory levels, and supplier efficiency.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and business partners.
- Update range plans, product strategies, and purchase decisions post-seasonal buys.
- Manage seasonal and continuity buys for third-party and group brands.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in retail buying/merchandising, preferably in the retail sector.
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- High analytical ability and sensitivity to numerical data.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset with proven leadership qualities, a positive attitude, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
