Your new role
- Took ownership of pricing strategy development for commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and supporting Sales teams through profitability assessments and strategic input.
- Created financial models to evaluate the long-term profitability of potential opportunities, combining quantitative analysis with business insights.
- Collaborated regularly with internal stakeholders to plan revenue, usage, and churn initiatives, including setting price points and recommending pricing structures.
- Provided strategic recommendations based on industry and segment pricing benchmarks, competitor movements, and ICT market trends to assess impact on existing customers and forecast new revenue streams.
- Designed business and financial models to support pricing decisions for new or enhanced products and services.
- Worked closely with cross-functional teams to prepare and secure timely approvals for business cases.
- Monitored competitor pricing changes and analysed their impact on market share and customer retention.
- Maintained strong pricing governance and frameworks for enterprise clients, including managing pricing forums and tracking commercial submissions.
What you'll need to succeed
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. A postgraduate qualification such as an MBA is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in pricing strategy, commercial finance, or business analysis, ideally within the telecommunications or ICT sector. Demonstrated leadership in driving pricing initiatives and collaborating across functions.
- Skills & Competencies: Strong proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis, with solid business acumen. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Well-versed in pricing governance, competitor benchmarking, and market trend evaluation
