Our client is a well-established financial institution with a sizeable operational footprint across Malaysia. The organisation manages a broad portfolio of leased and owned properties, supported by a large volume of vendor, service, and commercial contracts. As part of its ongoing focus on governance, risk management, and asset optimisation, the institution is strengthening leadership within its contract and property function.
Your new role
Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of all contracts and property-related assets, including:
Leading the end-to-end contract management framework, ensuring contracts, leases, and service agreements remain fit-for-purpose, compliant, and commercially sound.
Assessing and reporting on the health of key contracts and lease agreements, identifying risks, gaps, expiries, and renegotiation opportunities.
Overseeing the institution’s property portfolio, evaluating asset condition, utilisation, and long-term sustainability.
Acting as a key advisor to senior stakeholders, providing clear insights on commercial exposure, asset performance, and contractual risks
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum 12–15 years’ experience in contract management, property management, or commercial governance within financial services, large corporates, or regulated environments
Proven ability to review, assess, and rationalise complex contract and lease portfolios at enterprise level
Solid understanding of property asset health, including lifecycle planning, lease structures, and cost optimisation
Strong stakeholder management skills with the maturity to engage senior management, legal teams, and auditors
