A prominent financial institution that prioritises digital innovation is looking for a Head of Data Governance to join their high-performing team.

Your new role

In this business-critical role, you will be responsible for:

• Implement and optimise data governance solutions across hybrid and multi-cloud environments using tools like data catalogues, quality monitoring, lineage tracking etc.
• Assist in creating, enforcing, and continuously improving data governance policies, standards and best practices.
• Oversee data governance projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experienced in data governance and data management, including frameworks and policies, data quality, metadata, data lineage, master data management, data catalogues, and reference data.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Proficient in data governance tools and solutions such as Informatica, Collibra, Alation etc.

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP) are a plus.
