You’ll be joining Maybank, one of Asia’s leading financial institutions, headquartered in Malaysia. Within the Group Data & Analytics division, to drive strategic data transformation initiatives, enabling Maybank to become a truly data-driven organization.

Your new role

As Head of Programme Management, Data Management, you will lead the execution of Maybank’s flagship initiative to transform customer onboarding, data management, and compliance capabilities across the region. You’ll oversee the multi-year roadmap, establish programme frameworks, ensure delivery against scope, budget, and timelines, and champion adoption of emerging technologies. You’ll also inspire and manage a high-performing team while engaging senior stakeholders across multiple entities and geographies to ensure strategic alignment and programme success.

What you'll need to succeed

• 12–15+ years of programme or change management experience, ideally in banking/financial services.
• Proven track record in leading large-scale transformation programmes.
• Regional or multi-entity delivery experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of modern data and technology platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills with senior executives.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skills.
• Resilient, proactive, results-oriented, and self-motivated with the ability to juggle priorities and drive outcomes.
