Your new role
Provide strategic leadership for the organisation’s human capital agenda, aligning people strategy with overall business goals.
Drive workforce planning, talent management, succession readiness, and leadership development across the organisation.
Oversee recruitment strategy, employer branding, and fair, values‑aligned hiring practices to attract top talent.
Lead performance management, rewards, and employee experience initiatives to build a high‑performance, engaged workforce.
Foster a values‑driven, inclusive, and collaborative culture that supports employee well‑being and organisational growth.
Ensure strong HR governance, compliance, risk management, and data‑driven decision‑making across all people processes.
Develop and lead a high‑performing HR team, championing digitalisation, continuous improvement, and service excellence.
What you'll need to succeed
Extensive HR leadership experience (12+ years) within financial services or a similarly regulated industry, with proven ability to lead strategic human capital initiatives.
Strong understanding of Islamic banking context, including Shariah‑aligned practices, values‑driven culture building, and compliance expectations.
Expertise in talent management, including succession planning, workforce planning, leadership development, and capability building for a future‑ready organisation.
Proven track record in Talent Acquisition excellence, employer branding, and building high‑quality recruitment pipelines aligned with organisational growth.
Demonstrated ability to lead cultural and organisational transformation, including digital HR innovation, continuous improvement, and change management.
Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence senior leadership, collaborate cross‑functionally, and build trust at all organisational levels.
High financial and governance acumen, with the ability to manage HR budgets, apply data‑driven decisions, ensure regulatory compliance, and mitigate people‑related risks.
