Your new opportunity is with a leading industrial chemicals & services MNC, who are seeking a Head of Procurement to helm the strategic function for the Malaysia-wide operations

Your new role

You will drive strategic procurement and vendor management initiatives to create further efficiencies in both cost and process, benchmarking against market competitiveness and best practice. You and your team will work closely with key stakeholders across the region, analyzing and defining actionable impacts and areas for improvement, including supplier risk management. You will oversee the implementation and development of strategies on-ground, and assist in issue resolution, ensuring due diligence and integrating technology into daily operations. As a strong leader, you play a big part in contributing to strategic transformation and adoption of new technologies across the business.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong end-to-end Procurement knowledge is a MUST, with experience in Direct categories and Sustainable sourcing being a strong added advantage

• Positive track-record in key stakeholder/vendor management across matrix environment, including team management

• Effective communication skills in English are a must, both spoken and written

• Hands on exposure to eProcurement tools

• Proven experience in Change Leadership with long-term development plans in place

• Citizen of Malaysia, or holds a Residence Pass-Talent
