A leading, well‑established financial institution in the region is seeking a Head of Total Rewards to shape and drive its group-wide compensation, benefits, and recognition strategy. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for designing competitive and future‑ready reward programs that attract, motivate, and retain top talent in a dynamic, high‑performance environment.
Your new role
In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing:
1. Total Rewards Strategy
- Lead the design and execution of an integrated Total Rewards strategy aligned with the organisation’s business objectives, talent priorities, and long‑term workforce plans.
- Conduct internal assessments and external market benchmarking to ensure the reward framework remains competitive and equitable.
- Advise senior leadership on reward trends, market movements, and policy implications.
2. Compensation Leadership
- Oversee base pay structures, variable compensation models, bonus cycles, and long‑term incentive plans, including executive compensation.
- Manage job evaluation frameworks, grading structures, and salary bands to maintain internal equity.
- Ensure compensation practices comply with regulatory requirements and organisational governance standards.
3. Benefits & well-being program management
- Develop and manage a comprehensive portfolio of benefits including medical, wellness, insurance, and retirement programs.
- Conduct regular reviews to assess the utilisation, competitiveness, and cost-effectiveness of benefits offerings.
- Build relationships with external providers to optimise value and service quality.
4. Recognition, engagement & culture
- Design recognition programs that reinforce the company’s values, high‑performance expectations, and employee engagement ambitions
5. Analytics, reporting & HR Technology
- Use HR analytics to assess reward program effectiveness, identify insights, and support evidence‑based decision-making.
- Oversee improvements to HRIS, payroll processes, and Total Rewards operations to drive efficiency and digital enhancement
What you'll need to succeed - 8–10+ years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits or HR strategy, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in compensation design, benefits management, job evaluation, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with HRIS and compensation tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Strategic thinker with resilience, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Professional certification (e.g., CCP/GRP) is an advantage.
