Your New Role
As the Head of Sales & Marketing, you will lead and manage the organisation’s sales and marketing functions with full accountability for revenue growth, market share expansion, and profit and loss (P&L) performance. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for defining and executing sales and marketing strategies aligned with the overall business objectives.
Key aspects of the role include leading and developing high-performing sales teams, identifying and growing revenue opportunities, and building strong customer relationships. You will collaborate closely with other business units to create new revenue streams, improve sales effectiveness, and enhance operational efficiency. In addition, you will drive marketing strategies that support product commercialisation, innovation, communications, and brand growth while strengthening brand awareness in the marketplace.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of leading and motivating sales teams, fostering a culture of high performance and customer-centric. You should possess a minimum of 15 years of professional experience, including at least 10 years in a senior management or leadership capacity.
Strong strategic planning and execution skills are essential, along with the ability to translate market insights into effective sales and marketing initiatives. You will bring excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong data analysis capabilities, and deep knowledge of market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive dynamics within the telecommunications, IT, or technology infrastructure sectors. Experience in driving innovation and building a strong brand presence is highly valued. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree will be considered an advantage.
