Your new role
As part of the Strategy & Sustainability function, you will play a central role in shaping, coordinating, and monitoring the Group’s strategic direction, performance outcomes, transformation initiatives, and sustainability priorities. This is a highly visible Group‑level role with regular engagement with senior leadership and Board‑level stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will span corporate strategy, strategic alignment, transformation governance, and ESG implementation.
Group Strategy & Annual Corporate Planning
- Act as a central coordination point for verification and monitoring of the Group’s long‑term strategy, working closely with senior leadership
- Coordinate the annual business and resource planning process, including departmental target setting and alignment
- Lead quarterly Group Strategy and Performance Reviews with senior management and the Board
- Identify gaps in execution and recommend corrective actions, restructuring, or reprioritisation of initiatives to support strategic milestones
- Lead the annual business planning cycle and cascading of corporate targets to departments and Heads of Department
- Provide advisory support to departments to ensure plans are aligned with corporate objectives
- Facilitate annual Strategy Taskforce meetings
- Conduct mid‑term strategic reviews and support planning for subsequent strategy phases
Strategic Alignment
- Validate departmental and business unit initiatives to ensure alignment with Group growth and diversification objectives
- Periodically assess value propositions by sector and customer segment
- Ensure alignment across branding, key account management, product strategy, marketing, R&D, and go‑to‑market priorities with long‑term strategic direction
Transformation Management Office (TMO)
- Ensure strategic relevance of major projects, partnerships, and MOUs prior to commitment of Group resources
- Support alignment of digital transformation and human capital initiatives with strategic ambitions
- Oversee PMO activities to track progress, risks, and outcomes of strategic projects and partnerships
- Support the identification and development of new transformation initiatives
ESG & Sustainability Strategy
- Drive ESG strategy with a focus on governance, compliance, tracking, and reporting
- Support sustainability‑related customer and OEM qualification requirements
- Lead the development and coordination of a Group‑wide Scope 1–3 decarbonisation roadmap
- Integrate sustainability principles into cost‑reduction initiatives and support access to green financing, incentives, and grant opportunities
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong experience in group strategy, corporate planning, transformation management, or sustainability roles within industrial or complex organisations
- Proven experience working ith senior leadership and Board‑level stakeholders
- Solid understanding of business planning, performance management, and strategic governance
- Experience coordinating cross‑functional initiatives across multiple business units
- Knowledge of ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting, and decarbonisation initiatives
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and superproportioned capabilities
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- A structured, collaborative, and outcomes‑driven approach
