Operational Management: Oversee the processing of the full spectrum of trade finance products, including Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees, Documentary Collections, and Supply Chain Finance.
Risk & Compliance: Maintain robust risk control frameworks to ensure adherence to internal policies and international standards like UCP 600, ISBP, and Incoterms.
Digital Transformation: Champion the adoption of automation and digital platforms to reduce manual touchpoints and improve transaction turnaround times.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between operations and other units, such as Corporate Banking, Risk, Compliance, and external correspondent banks.
Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of trade professionals, ensuring they are equipped with the skills needed for a modern financial landscape.
Requirements
Experience: Typically requires 10–15 years of progressive experience in trade finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, or Business Administration is standard; an MBA or CFA is often preferred for more senior roles.
Professional Certifications: Highly desired certifications include CDCS (Certified Documentary Credit Specialist)
