The Head of PMO is responsible for the overall project management function, providing leadership, coordination, and management of the PMO processes and functions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning: Define and implement PMO strategies and frameworks to align with the bank's business objectives.
2. Project Management: Oversee the full project management life cycle for the development and implementation of strategic initiatives.
3. Resource Management: Efficiently allocate resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets.
4. Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
5. Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables.
6. Process Improvement: Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance project outcomes.
7. Reporting: Provide regular updates to business stakeholders, manage and produce dashboard metrics and project status reports.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field. An advanced degree like an MBA is preferred.
2. Proven experience in a PMO leadership role within an investment banking environment.
3. Strong knowledge of project management principles and concepts.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
5. Proficiency in project management software tools.
