We are partnering with a leading, large-scale organisation in the critical infrastructure sector to look for a Head of Talent Acquisition. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will redefine how the organisation attracts, engages and hires talent, while shaping its reputation as an employer of choice in a niche, evolving industry. You will work closely with the executive leadership team to drive transformation across hiring, branding and workforce strategy at the Group level.
Your new role
You will lead the end-to-end transformation of Talent Acquisition and Employer branding by:
- Strategic leadership
- Design and deliver an enterprise-wide talent acquisition strategy aligned to business growth and transformation.
- Lead workforce planning, hiring forecasts, and future skills pipeline development
- Partner with senior stakeholders to act as a trusted advisor on talent strategy
- Employer branding & market positioning
- Build a compelling employer brand narrative and elevate market visibility
- Drove digital campaigns, campus engagement and industry partnerships
- Position the organisation as an attractive destination for next-generation talent
- Talent acquisition excellence
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment operations [sourcing → onboarding]
- Implement best-in-class practices across assessment, candidate experience and hiring quality
- Embed data-driven decision-making through hiring metrics and analytics
- Talent pipeline & future readiness
- Build proactive talent pipelines, including passive talent pools
- Align closely with Talent Management on succession planning
- Transformation & innovation
- Drive adoption of technology, AI and automation in recruitment
- Lead cultural and operational change across hiring practices
- Continuously improve efficiency, governance and cost optimisation.
- Diversity & Inclusion
- Champion inclusive hiring strategies
- Embed DEI into the talent acquisition process beyond compliance
- Leadership & team management
- Lead and develop a high-performing TA function
- Build capability, agility and innovation within the team
What you'll need to succeed
In order to qualify for this role, you must have:
- 15 years experience in Talent Acquisition, including hiring for strategic leadership roles.
- Proven track record in:
- Enterprise-level TA strategy and workforce planning
- Employer branding and EVP development
- Leading large, complex hiring operations
- Strong stakeholder management with experience influencing senior leadership
- Experience driving transformation, change and digital adoption in TA
- Exposure to DEI initiatives and inclusive hiring frameworks
- Data-driven mindset with strong use of recruitment analytics
- Degree in HR, Business or related field
