A market-leading manufacturing company that is based in Johor. They are a global manufacturer in the packaging industry which specialises in sustainable engineering solutions, serving diverse industries with cutting-edge technologies. Our client is seeking a dedicated HSE Manager to drive safety, health, and environmental excellence across their operations.

Your new role

• You are responsible to ensure regulatory compliance of the company. You will be tasked to advise on SHE matters and ensure alignment with DOSH, DOE, MOH, Fire Department, and other relevant authorities.
• Act as the lead for ISO System Management for SHE-related matters, you are responsible as the management representative for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, overseeing implementation and continuous improvement.
• You will be tasked with overseeing all regional and global collaboration on HSE. You are responsible for representing Malaysia in factory management and steering teams, and APAC in the global OHS development team.
• Strong focus on driving safety culture within the organisation. You will coordinate OHS inductions, training, campaigns, and internal communications to foster awareness and engagement across multiple functions in the company.
• You will lead investigations, risk assessments, audits, and corrective actions while managing the Emergency Response Team and OHS Committee in the company.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Health, Safety and Environment, or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manager capacity specialising in HSE within a manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and ISO 14001.

• Greenbook holder
