You will be joining a well-established international engineering solutions provider undergoing strong growth across its industrial and manufacturing portfolios. The organisation is recognised for its technical excellence, collaborative work culture, and long-standing commitment to quality and innovation.

As part of their expanding Engineering Operations team, they are seeking a Lead Engineer with deep expertise in HVAC and mechanical engineering to drive complex design and execution activities. Ideal for experienced engineers with strong HVAC design leadership and PE (IR) qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC system design, calculations, schematics, equipment selection, and ductwork/airflow planning.
• Review concept designs, design basis reports, and ensure alignment with client requirements.
• Oversee detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical deliverables.
• Guide and review work by engineers/drafters while coordinating with all MEP disciplines.
• Participate in cleanroom HVAC design, site visits, vendor reviews, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure all designs meet GMP, ISO, and international engineering standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (IR / Professional Engineer required).
• Minimum 10 years of HVAC design experience, ideally in cleanroom or pharmaceutical environments.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC calculations, airflow balancing, duct sizing, and industry standards (GMP, ISO 14644, ASHRAE, NEBB, etc.).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, planning, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
