Inventory Management Specialist (Parts Management)

Leading Electronics/Imaging Devices Company seeking Inventory Management Officer

Your new company

Join a well‑established global technology leader that operates a strong nationwide distribution and service network, supporting the movement of high‑precision products through efficient, compact, and reliability‑driven processes. The organisation has been in the region for over 30 years, backed by a comprehensive infrastructure of service outlets and solution centres that ensure smooth logistics, inventory flow, and after‑sales support across Malaysia. It offers a stable, growth‑oriented environment for warehouse and inventory professionals who thrive in structured operations, continuous improvement, and high‑standards environments that emphasise quality, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Your new role

As the Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting service parts inventory operations to ensure the right parts are available at the right time for service teams, partners, and distributors. You will manage inventory levels, support forecasting and ordering activities, and ensure timely stock‑up for new model launches. This role requires close coordination with regional teams, supply chain partners, and technical departments to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and strong communication across all touchpoints. You will also be responsible for processing distributor orders, supporting warranty claim activities, handling reverse‑logistics of defective parts, and ensuring proper documentation and system updates. Your work will directly contribute to service continuity, customer satisfaction, and overall operational excellence within the parts supply ecosystem.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Hands-on experience in parts management, forecasting, and handling small‑item SKUs, including coordination with suppliers, partners, and customers.
  • Excellent command of English (written and verbal), with the ability to analyse data, prepare reports, and present insights clearly.
  • Skilled in spreadsheet tools and data visualization; highly organised and meticulous when handling large data sets.
  • Able to gather, interpret, and utilise data to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and strengthen operational support.
  • Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
