Your new company

A multinational manufacturer is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to lead the maintenance activities in their existing plant and to support plant commissioning for their expansion project.

Your new role

• Assess equipment vulnerability and define action plans to support continuous improvement of maintenance activity of the plant.
• Evaluate, analyse, and monitor operational systems and equipment using plant P&ID, PFD, or Electrical/Electronic circuitry.
• Focus on maintenance of process equipment such as vacuum pumps, thermal oxidisers, cooling systems, heat exchangers, natural gas/gas effluent management, and utilities
• Propose preventative and predictive maintenance tasks to enhance equipment reliability and operation.
• Analyse risk using Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and recommend mitigation strategies
• Define critical/important spare parts and determine optimum stock levels.
• Propose and implement maintenance investments and projects
• Lead problem-solving analyses to eliminate root causes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position, experience in a chemical manufacturing environment is an added advantage.

• Must be able to read Plant P&ID, PFD or Electrical/Electronic circuitry along with knowledge and ability to analyse Maintenance KPI (MTBF, MTTR, OEE etc.)

• Know-how in Machine’s Command and Control systems such as PLC, Variable Speed Control systems and other signal related control systems

• Ability to define/identify equipment criticality, perform failure analysis and application of quality management Tools such as FMEA, RCA, DMAIC, 8D etc.
