Your new role

As Operations Director, you will assume full responsibility for the leadership, administration, and performance of the company’s manufacturing operations. Reporting into senior management, you will lead end‑to‑end factory activities, ensuring operational excellence across production, maintenance, quality, cost control, and resource optimisation.

You will be accountable for annual budgeting, capital and human resources planning, and aligning operational objectives with overall business strategy. A key aspect of the role is driving efficiency, optimising plant capacity, and embedding continuous improvement practices. You will also oversee quality management within an IATF 16949 environment and ensure strong adherence to Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements. The role requires close collaboration with Sales, Finance, Engineering, Quality, and Administration functions to meet customer and business expectations.

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive senior‑level experience in manufacturing operations, ideally within electronics, ferrite, ceramics, automotive components, or precision manufacturing
• Proven success in plant leadership, cost control, budgeting, and efficiency improvement
• Solid working experience in an IATF 16949 or equivalent quality‑driven environment
• Strong knowledge of capacity planning, maintenance systems, and process optimisation
