Our client, located in Kuala Lumpur, is the regional service hub with approximately 1,100 employees and growing. They focused on being a competency and digitalisation driven hub. It also provides quality functional and know-how services in the areas of finance, control, human resources and more. They have two other regional hubs, located in Berlin, Germany, and Montevideo, Uruguay.
Your new role
- Ensure data quality and data integrity for Payroll, Compensation & Benefits and Labor Relations & Law processes.
- Manage a full payroll portfolio (either in-house or via vendors) accurately, timely and in compliance with statutory requirements, business policies and company guidelines.
- Responsible for payroll issues resolutions, data analysis, payroll accounting activities, payroll taxation and legislation administration.
- Contribute positively to a knowledge-sharing environment through generously providing guidance and sharing knowledge with others.
- Provide advice such as manual payment calculation, payslip simulation, gross up computations for payment, national service claims, global mobility packages, compensation and benefits practices and guidelines, labour laws etc.
What you'll need to succeed
- 3 years min experience in regional payroll (end-to-end), preferably SEA countries. (This position will cover India's payroll, but open to candidates who do not have the experience of processing it)
- Preferably a candidate that has experience of using SAP systems
- Coming from a shared service background would be an advantage.
- A candidate that is adaptable, has good communication skills, and open to explore new opportunities is highly recommended.
