Located in Melaka, this company is one of the leading equipment makers, for the semiconductor and electronics industry. With increasing demand and company expansion, this company is looking to expand and hire process engineers to work on their new products and packages.

Your new role

As a process engineer, you will be working closely with various departments to develop, characterize and optimize machine parameters for the new and existing products, as part of a multi-functional team. You will also be given the opportunity to participate in activities such as studies and investigations, and focus on projects such as cost reduction and equipment standardisation, to ensure continuous quality of finished goods.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong background in manufacturing / semiconductor industry
• Experience in engineering / quality tools, like QFD, Q mapping, FMEA, statistics analysis (DOE, SPC etc), good technical knowledge and trouble shooting skills
• Good command of MS Office and MS Project
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills
• Analyze technical / process tasks and develop creative and cost-conscious solutions
• Independent, hardworking and possess the right initiatives
• Practice-oriented, aim / goal oriented, ability to work under pressure
• Assertiveness, distinct organizing skills, professional team spirit
