Your new role

In this role, you will:

• Lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for aerospace-grade materials, ensuring alignment with operational and regulatory requirements.

• Oversee the full procurement cycle, from RFQs and contract negotiations to supplier performance and timely delivery.

• Drive cost control and efficiency, optimising procurement budgets while maintaining quality and compliance with aviation standards.

• Manage procurement risks, strengthen supply chain resilience, and ensure adherence to industry regulations.

• Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is an added advantage.

• Minimum 5–7 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.

• Strong understanding of aerospace-grade materials, procurement processes, and supplier management.

• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and contract management skills to drive cost efficiency and supplier performance.

• Familiarity with procurement ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for streamlined operations.

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to collaborate across teams and suppliers.

• Fluent in English and BM - proficiency in additional languages is an advantage for supplier communication.
