A well-established Malaysian food manufacturing company with a strong presence in rice and noodle processing and packaging. Known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and operational excellence, the company operates multiple facilities in peninsular Malaysia and serves both domestic and international markets. This role will be based in their plant in Kedah.

Your new role

• You are responsible to manage daily production activities, ensuring efficient operations and timely delivery.
• Day-to-day scope includes monitoring production processes to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance.
• There will be a key focus in implementing lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• As a key personnel in the factory's operation, you are responsible to supervise, train, and develop production staff to meet performance targets and enhance employee development.
• Track and report key performance indicators such as output and efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• More than 5 years of proven experience in production or operations management within the food or FMCG industry. Noodles manufacturing is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process optimisation.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
