Your new role

• Own, lead and managing test automation and solution and production issues by working closely with key stakeholders.
• Document test procedure, guidelines and lead knowledge sharing sessions.
• Responsible for implementing the testing and ensuring more stable applications for the organisation in achieving adoption in DevSecOps.
• Responsible for implementing and architecting state-of-the-art software testing and transforming it to future-state automated testing.
• To inculcate the best practices, operational discipline and guidelines across the systems team.
• Responsible for the development of automated tests for all software testing as part of the application development lifecycle.
• Establish a framework for necessary contributions from various departments and facilitate their collaboration.
• Document and monitor testing outcomes and establish steps to remedy problems.
• Analyse current technologies used within the company and develop innovative steps to improve testing procedures.
• Detailed understanding of how to properly document test cases and create an effective and focused testing plan.
• Assist other department engineers in creating practical automated test suits that are aligned with the proposed testing framework and tools.
• Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved.
• Responsible for the continuous maintenance of existing test scripts and code.
• To participate in other working groups of small projects undertaken by the division on issues in regard to Systems Architecture & Design with a focus around test driven development, test automation and test coverage.
• Drive and coordinate across teams to design automated repetitive tests to streamline the testing process.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in software testing. In depth know-how of test processes, i.e. test plan preparation, test execution, bug defect escalation, test report etc.
• Detailed oriented and adept at anticipating user behaviour and innovative in identifying opportunities for improvement/problem-solving
• Mature experiences with programming script languages such as Python, Java, and Ruby on Rails, etc.
• Good experience with Selenium test automation, Robot Framework, Rest API, Postman, SoapUI, Git, Pivotal Tracker, etc.
• Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols, SAFe, Agile/Hybrid Agile, and DevOps
• Familiar and have good understanding of DevSecOps architecture, such as Jenkins, Dockers and Ansible
• Good programming skills include automation systems and databases.
• Good understanding of virtualisation and/or cloud technology such as AWS, GCP or Azure
