An exciting 1 year contract role has opened up for a Regional Marketing position at this Global FMCG powerhouse that carries iconic and household brands familiar amongst global consumers. They specialise in the Confectionery and Sweets/gums category and this particular brand is mature, established and has a very strong connection with consumers across the globe.
Your new role
We are looking for someone who is excited and passionate about driving growth and elevating brands. We need someone who can balance creativity with being data-driven to lead marketing campaigns that will bring positive impact to the brand and organisation. We have a strong appetite to being a brand that is loud, engaging, relevant to the modern and young generation and serve them better. This person will be managing the snacks/impulse category and you will be leading a team of brand marketers
In this role, you will drive the cluster portfolio strategy, leading both new product development (NPD) and portfolio optimization & enhancement initiatives by supporting the Category marketing manager and Marketing Director to role out the regional strategies across the different markets
- Lead the brand and become the custodian to drive the category and brand forward through exciting brand campaigns, activations and NPD/innovations
- Lead the development and management of the categories' key NPD/innovation pipelines
- Translate category opportunities into relevant and compelling solutions with synergy across Asia markets, particularly for innovation projects
- You will need to be analytical and data driven to develop brand and marketing campaigns that will help elevate the brand and drive revenue
- Partner with R&D, Category Leadership, Strategic Revenue Management, Market Demand teams, and Supply to identify and deliver desirable, feasible, and viable portfolio solutions
- Main PIC to develop regional brand strategies, guidelines, communication strategies and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (Regional Marketing Manager, Local Marketing Managers, Local trade marketing teams, Supply, R&D, Commercials, SRA, etc) by understanding and managing their needs and expectations.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 8 years of brand marketing experience within the FMCG industry is a MUST
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholder
- Success in this role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, inspiring teams to deliver on category ambitions and objectives, and establishing effective working relationships with cluster, market demand, and key functional teams (Supply, R&D, Commercials, SRA, etc).
